Girl aged 7 – 10 (but should look closer to 7) Ethnicity non-specific. Please also submit IDENTICAL twins as well as individual actors.
Our hero is 7 years old and needs to be portrayed by a young actor who is extremely confident and able to capture the nuances and realism of this script while also finding the comedy moments.
This is a story about her getting ready for school all by herself. She’s a cute, plucky, unique little firecracker determined to do everything on her own – whether or not she can just yet. Outside of the home and around strangers Lola can be pretty shy, but at home she is 110% percent herself. She wears all her quirks on her sleeve and just can’t wait to grow up. She just doesn’t believe in giving up, and gives her full concentration when attempting something difficult.
