Ruth and Sara (70 +) have lived in the hotel for decennia in a double suite full of old lace and French porcelain. They are as British as can be, but take immense pride in their supposed distant French heritage. They also have an uncanny fascination with death. Though they rarely set foot out of their suite anymore they know more about the goings on in the hotel than they let on. I imagine they were beauties when they were young but preferred each other’s company to that of spouses. They are a little mad, but elegant and eager for company. They get their kicks by playing pranks on each other and singing Edith Piaf songs in unison.
Obviously we’d love twins but would consider sisters, cousins…
