Role: Simon, our elf (Main Character) – aged 6 to 8
Our elf is a charming whirlwind – somewhere between Peter Pan, Kevin McCallister and Michel from Lönneberga. With his vivid imagination, a mischievous smile and a huge heart, he loves secretly bringing little moments of joy to the people around him.
At Christmas, he becomes his own family’s elf and experiences his very own Christmas fairy tale.
Casting Notes:
- We are looking for a boy with a natural enthusiasm for acting, expressive eyes and an open, likeable demeanour.
- Minimum age 6 years (preferably looking younger) · Red (not essential, just a bonus), curly or tousled hair is welcome ·
- Curious, active and full of energy. Comfortable around dogs. Acting experience.

002 EMIL (Male, 6 years – 8 years)
Role: Emil, the cousin, aged approx. 6–8
The cousin is Simon’s accomplice and his absolute equal in imagination, a thirst for adventure and resourcefulness. As soon as the two meet, they hatch new plans and spur each other on with their ideas to ever grander elf pranks.
We are looking for a charming, lively boy with a natural enthusiasm for acting and credible chemistry with Simon.
Casting Notes:
- Approx. 8 years old, preferably looking younger · Acting experience · ideally physically

Contract type: Commercials
- FLAT FEE including travel fee, fitting, 3 shooting days (including film & photos), possibly 1 downtime day + buy-outs for Germany – see below
- Children – €2,250.00
- Adults – €3,750.00
- BSF for subsequent buy-outs / overtime Children €500 Adults €1,000
- FALLBACK CHILDREN ON SET – including 1 day’s filming
- Fee per day of filming – €400.00
- + €150.00 per day for the accompanying person
