This is to cover two of the roles. We’re interested in exploring casting identical twins for two of the male roles, the guy in the bedroom and the guy on the bike.
The reason for this is that in each of those scenes we see the guy and then we see his reflection but his reflection is carrying out different action to the actual guy, so casting identical twins would allow for that trick to be done in-camera, rather than in post.
- The Guy At Home (Male, 25–35 years) Man with a playing age of 25 – 35. Please ensure that suggestions are diverse and representative. We’re looking for a strong performer who can open the film with a relatable warmth as we catch him in a rush to leave his house. Interesting, cinematic faces. - THE CYCLIST (Male, 35–45 years) Man with a playing age of 35 – 45. Please ensure that suggestions are diverse and representative. A confident cyclist. Interesting, cinematic faces. People who feel real and who have character in their look. Great actors.
Contract info: The deal for this will essentially be the same for the main one of the twins who is playing the character in the scene. The actor who is playing the reflection will get a lower buyout as that role is much smaller and very fleeting. See below.
BSF (ten hours including breaks): £350.00
Wardrobe (up to two hours) £50.00
Recalls: £50.00
Overtime is charged at 1/5 BSF per hour up until midnight and 1/5 BSF per hour thereafter.
