Chantelle & Melissa

From my experience of being a twin, it was always good at school when my sister and I were little. We would always get confused by the teachers as to who was who. This would be helpful if one of us did something naughty, as the teacher in the playground would not know which of us to tell off, which was funny.

We were also attracted to be friends with other twins. In school again this ended up in us all getting into trouble on many occasions, as we were all naughty & would like to push boundaries of what we could do. This ended up in us all being made to write out lines i.e. of we will never do this again, and we have learnt from our behaviour etc. I cannot say this was really a punishment as, at the time we were having to sit in and write lines in the warm. Our class mates were outside on their lunch break playing in the rain, when it was cold.

There were occasions in school also were I Melissa would have class mates of my sister Chantelle come up to me and say “Well done Chantelle! You did amazing in your gymnastics routine”, and because I was so used to this confusion, I would just say Thank you and pretend like I was Chantelle.
